Elite Line Services (ELS) in San Antonio is seeking a Bag Jammer to support the baggage handling system. You will assist in clearing jams and aid technicians with routine maintenance while adhering to safety protocols.

This role requires flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong English communication, and the ability to obtain an Airport Security badge.

Under minimal direction, is responsible for responding to and correction of fault conditions within the BHS System.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assists in clearing Jams from the baggage handling system
• Assists Technicians or other personnel with basic maintenance such as sweeping, cleaning and greasing.
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Compliance with all ELS safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous work experience in an Airport environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works in all areas located on Airport property. May be around dust, dirt, moving machinery, temperature changes, heights and noise levels below OSHA minimum requirements. Use of PPE is required.
