Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC in Abilene is seeking a full-time Badging Specialist who is enthusiastic, service oriented, and results-driven to support our security operations and customer service goals. You will monitor access control, manage CCTV, observe for emergencies, and coordinate with the Talent Acquisition and facilities teams to ensure smooth, safe building operations.

This role requires a high school diploma, the ability to pass state/federal licensing, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass licensing requirements.
• Experience in security, building automation, or life safety preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report events; dispatch appropriate personnel.
• Monitor CCTV and badge access across the property.

What you'll do

• Must observe and report emergency and non-emergency events.


• Responsible for monitoring security.


• Dispatch appropriate personnel and notify the appropriate level of management.


• Reporting and dispatching; meet and coordinate with all appropriate parties regarding emergency and non-emergency situations.


• Manage CCTV to monitor all areas of the property inside and outside; monitor badge activities; by granting access to certain levels within the building and outside.


• Monitor the emergency information communications system for the facility.

What You'll Need

• Acts as our "Customer's best service provider" at all times.


• Ability to pass any State and Federal licensing requirements.


• Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare.


• Microsoft Office experience desired.


• Ability to identify and respond to security risks in a timely manner.
