Job summary

SOC, a Day & Zimmermann company, seeks an experienced Badge Office Manager for on-site work in the Washington DC area. You’ll oversee badge offices, ensure compliant processes, and provide training to a team of five or more distributed staff while coordinating with the Department of Energy client.

Required are DOE fingerprinting, security clearance readiness, and strong Office/Oracle reporting skills. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected; citizenship and QA access are part of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years’ fingerprinting and USAccess/C-CURE knowledge.
• DOE security procedures training and fingerprinting certification.
• Current DOE Q access or ability to obtain with background checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage badge offices and personnel across dispersed facilities per DOE orders.
• Generate reports using Microsoft Office and Oracle databases.
• Provide security briefings to employees, visitors and contractors.
• Ensure badges are prepared, issued, recovered, and destroyed per policy.
