Job summary

Silgan Containers is seeking an operator to ensure product safety and quality across all duties. The role includes taking readings, running the blow molder and downstream components, and performing mold changes in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds continuously, with a focus on safety and adherence to procedures. Training on blow mold basics is provided, with evaluations to ensure competence.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Willingness to be trained on the following before starting their duties: Blow mold basics 6 wk. Operator Training Course, subject to a formal evaluation at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, and additional periodic intervals by the Trainer and Supervisor and decisions will be made accordingly
• This position requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with attention to detail. Mechanical Aptitude a plus.
