Job summary

Silgan Plastics Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a production associate to help ensure product safety and quality on the blow mold line. You will take bottle measurements, run the blow molder and downstream components, and perform changeovers as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and the stamina to perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching and twisting while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Willingness to be trained on the following before starting their duties: Blow mold basics 6 wk. Operator Training Course, subject to a formal evaluation at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, and additional periodic intervals by the Trainer and Supervisor and decisions will be made accordingly This position requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with attention to detail. Mechanical Aptitude a plus.
