Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Engineering Consultant 2 in the United States (Arizona) to drive design and implementation of enterprise-grade applications. You will elicit requirements, contribute to design concepts, and support iterative prototype development with cross‑functional teams.

You will build scalable, secure software using Java, REST APIs, and microservices, while maintaining documentation and guiding knowledge sharing across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.
• U.S. relocation/travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business and technical requirements.
• Participate in design meetings, create initial design concepts, and support design sketches using engineering tools.
• Iterate engineering design cycles, refine prototypes, and coordinate with teams to implement feedback.
• Develop and refine solution specifications and perform validation activities, including simulations.
• Build and refine prototypes, incorporating testing results and cross‑functional feedback.
• Undertake technical integration efforts and resolve interoperability issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and organize knowledge-sharing sessions.
