Job summary

Goodwill NCW in Wisconsin seeks a dependable team member for the retail backroom/warehouse. You will process donations, sort items, price and tag merchandise, stage products for the floor, and operate various power equipment.

The role requires reliable attendance, flexibility for evenings and weekends, and a safety‑minded approach. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean backroom, following handling procedures for hazardous items, and supporting general operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills and ability to multitask under time constraints.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and strong attention to detail.
• Basic math skills required.
• Experience operating power equipment preferred.
• Experience with computers or willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Processes new and donated items to meet production goals and uses team lifts as needed.
• Sorts and categorizes items, identifies items to send to e-Commerce, and safely disposes hazardous items.
• Determines price point and tickets items for visibility.
• Stages items to ensure fresh to floor products for customers.
• Operates power equipment (stacker, power pallet jack, tilt master, compactor, tipper, forklift).
• Maintains a clean, safe, organized backroom; completes checklists and assists with cleaning tasks.
• Adheres to proper operation of pallet jack and compactor (18+ and trained).
• Other duties as assigned.
