Job summary

Walmart in Meridian, MS is seeking a warehouse associate to maintain and process shipments for the Club, posting delivery schedules and verifying merchandise counts. You will receive merchandise, organize the Receiving area, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

You will also track and process claims, handle damaged goods, maintain safety standards, and support continuous improvement efforts while upholding Walmart values and policies.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification required or obtained within 30 days of job entry date.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and post delivery schedules, compile and organize receiving reports, verify merchandise counts and route merchandise to proper locations.
• Receive merchandise for the facility and organize the Receiving area, completing required documentation.
• Track and process claims, handle damaged goods, and maintain the clearance area while using technology for reporting.
• Adhere to safety standards, participate in safety sweeps, and report unsafe conditions to management.
