Job summary

Sam's Club in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, staging and shipping operations. You will help maintain and process shipments by developing delivery schedules, compiling receiving reports, verifying counts, routing merchandise, and paying expenses, while ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.

You will also receive merchandise, organize the Receiving area, follow safety standards, operate forklifts safely, and participate in audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification OR willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and process shipments by developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations and paying expenses.
• Receive merchandise for the facility and organize the Receiving area following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Follow safety standards, perform forklift operations safely, and report unsafe conditions.
• Complete required documentation and collaborate with managers and partners to address improvements and change.
