Job summary

Walmart in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Warehouse Associate to maintain and process shipments for the Club, including posting delivery schedules, receiving reports, verifying counts, routing merchandise, and paying expenses. You will receive merchandise, organize the Receiving area, and operate equipment as needed.

Safety is emphasized; you will conduct safety checks, manage hazardous materials, and ensure a clean, efficient clearance area.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification OR will obtain a Forklift Certification within 30 days of job entry date.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Maintains and processes shipments for the Club by developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses.
• Receives merchandise for the facility and organizes the Receiving area following company procedures and using equipment appropriately.
• Tracks and processes claims by returning damaged goods and handling liquidation merchandise; maintains and cleans the clearance area and uses technology to capture required reporting.
• Maintains safety of the facility by following safety standards and conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Completes work assignments by prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and adapting to change with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners.
