Job summary

Homesense at The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks a store associate to deliver a high quality customer experience at Store 2040 Buford GA. You will ring up purchases, process returns, stock merchandise, and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

Applicants should be comfortable starting at 6:00am, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work a flexible schedule to meet store needs. Training in loss prevention and safety will be provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean store environment.
• Follow operating procedures for ringing up purchases and returns, counting change accurately.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs and uphold merchandising standards.
• Process merchandise for the floor and participate in store recovery and safety initiatives.
• Support shrink reduction goals and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
