The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate at TJ Maxx in South Burlington, VT. You will support receiving, merchandising and customer service while working with a team to maintain store standards and drive sales.

You will engage customers, train new Associates, and help maintain backroom organization. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required, with opportunities for growth within the TJX family.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience.
• 6 months of leadership experience.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficiency and teamwork.
• Engage with customers to deliver an excellent shopping experience and maintain a clean store.
• Model exceptional customer service and provide guidance to Associates.
• Communicate with management to ensure smooth flow of goods to the sales floor.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
• Maintain signage standards and backroom cleanliness; support safety and recycling programs.
• Solicit feedback and provide recognition to staff; support training needs.
