Job summary

TJ Maxx in Lancaster, OH is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and keep the store clean and organized. You will assist with receiving and merchandising while supporting a friendly, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a clean backroom area.
