• Operate and maintain a backhoe with precision following project plans and specifications.
• Adhere to safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment and regulatory compliance.
• Perform trenching and excavation tasks for pipe installation.
• Handle pipes, materials and equipment used in the project, placing them accurately.
• Ensure excavation work meets blueprints and design specifications.
• Collaborate with the pipe crew and foreman to coordinate activities.
• Maintain clear communication with team and supervisors about progress and issues.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report issues to the maintenance team.
• Keep daily logs and required documentation up to date.
