Background Investigator - DPS Law Enforcement - Corpus Christi, TX

The Background Investigator will conduct public trust pre-employment background investigations for various Law Enforcement Agencies, focusing on providing a quality case report on time to the IDS customer.IDS is looking for Investigators with at least one year of investigative experience.This is an intermittent employee position. The selected applicant will apply for a TX Private Investigator's License under IDS. The workload will vary and work will be paid hourly.

• Conduct comprehensive interviews with the subject and sources to establish the subject's reputation, character, and qualifications.
• Write clear, concise reports.
• Provide any required edits or additional information within 48 hours of request
• Monitor pending cases to ensure compliance with due dates
