Job Title: Research Investigator 1

Job Location: Fully Remote – equipment provided

Job Type: Full-Time, Billable Hours, Non-exempt

Compensation: $17 - $21/hour, paid weekly

Reports To: Regional Manager

Responsibilities include conducting desktop-based investigations through research, documenting findings, analyzing records, and submitting reports within set timelines. Candidates should have strong communication skills for both internal and external interactions, demonstrate integrity, and be capable of conducting research and reporting background findings thoroughly.

• Preparing and dictating detailed investigation reports
• Adhering to strict due dates
• Attending and testifying at hearings

• If required by your residential state; a private investigators license

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Understanding of available public records
• Multilingual is a plus
• Associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field
• A degree from a four-year university or equivalent or currently enrolled
