Job summary

Public Consulting Group, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Background Check Specialist to support the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families. You will conduct state-wide background checks for in-state and out-of-state agencies and help ensure timely, accurate processing of results.

You will also generate management reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses, and coordinate schedules to meet deadlines while collaborating with management to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years' experience in payroll and accounts payable operations or finance, preferably in an automated system environment.

Public Consulting Group, LLC. is currently seeking a Background Check Specialist. This position will be part of the team responsible for PCG's federal revenue management for the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families (DCF), the agency that manages foster care and other child welfare activities in Wisconsin.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Runs statewide and Milwaukee County Child abuse or neglect background checks on behalf of in-state and out-of-state governmental agencies.
• Populates management reports and dashboards.
• Creates and maintains regular and ad hoc reporting as assigned.
• Develops schedules to meet deliverable deadlines for all assignments.
• Collaborates with management on means of improving efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-facing skills.

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

Range: $46,100 - $55,000
