Job summary

Bunker Hill Mine seeks a Paste Plant Operator to safely and efficiently run the surface paste plant system that produces backfill material for underground operations. The role requires working a rotating day/night shift in an industrial environment, operating independently and with the team.

Responsibilities include monitoring process parameters, performing inspections, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring regulatory and company procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating mining or processing plants.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety docs.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Basic computer/data-entry skills.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn, operate, monitor, start, stop, and control the surface paste plant system for backfill material production.
• Monitor process parameters and maintain operations within limits.
• Perform inspections to identify safety, environmental, or operational hazards.
• Document inspection results and communicate issues at shift end.
• Coordinate maintenance and actions to address equipment issues as needed.
• Coordinate cement deliveries and manage inventory accuracy.
