Garney Construction is seeking a Backfill Operator with construction experience to operate machinery for excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading, and final cleanup as part of a crew. The role may include laborer tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include backfilling the ditch after pipe installation, performing operator maintenance, and moving trench boxes. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction experience.
• Utility work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment operations and maintenance.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel.
