Job summary

Tasklet is building the AI platform companies use to run their business on agents. A customer describes an outcome in plain English, and Tasklet gets the work done across their tools and systems—immediately or in the cloud 24×7. This role is mostly backend and hands‑on.

This is a full‑time, in‑person position at our office at 1 Post St. in San Francisco, where you’ll design backend APIs, data models, and systems that scale as Tasklet grows.

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals are essential.
• Ability to turn product needs into clean primitives and abstractions.
• Experience with production software and debugging complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Build backend APIs and services powering Tasklet’s product.
• Develop core systems for identity, agents, sharing, permissions, billing, payments, analytics.
• Build infrastructure for connectors, authentication, webhooks, automations, and integrations.
• Design simple abstractions and data models for a fast-changing product.
• Own systems in production and improve correctness, security, reliability, and ops.
• Work across the stack and across role boundaries to solve problems.
