Job summary

Pragmatike is recruiting for a Senior Backend Software Engineer role in San Francisco, on-site, with a compensation range of $180,000–$300,000 USD. The candidate will work across frontend and backend systems, building production backend services using TypeScript, Python, and Go.

You will design scalable APIs, implement data processing and asynchronous workflows, and collaborate with Product and other engineering teams to deliver robust architectures and high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend software engineering experience.

• Experience building production APIs and backend services.

About the Opportunity

Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing technology company building sophisticated software systems and infrastructure at scale. We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer with experience in YC-backed or Venture backed start-ups who can work across frontend and backend systems and take features from initial concept through production.

What You'll Do

• Build production backend services using TypeScript, Python, and Go.
