Job summary

Tensor is seeking a software engineer to implement and maintain security REST API platforms, including PKI and authentication services, primarily in Java. You will write crypto libraries and deliver well-structured, tested code while improving infrastructure stability as the system scales across multiple time zones.

Required is a Bachelor’s in CS with 3 years of software engineering experience, strong Java skills, and familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Spring or Play.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience as a software engineer or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong Java language skills and coding style.
• Familiar with MVC and frameworks like Spring or Play.
• Hands-on experience with REST API design and implementation.
• Experience with SQL and no-SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Apache Ignite, Cassandra).
• Comfortable working within a distributed team located in multiple time zones.

Preferences

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and agile development environment.
• Working knowledge of public key infrastructure (PKI) in medium to large environments to include key management, digital certificates, and digital signatures.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices, processes, and methods.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
