Job summary

Quantexa is seeking a Software Engineer to join our R&D team and help shape the next generation of products that transform how organisations use data.

You’ll join the Research and Development department, working on the Quantexa Platform. Our backend services are written in Scala and Java, deployed as microservices, with a focus on scalable, distributed solutions that handle large data volumes.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing scalable backend applications using JVM languages such as Scala, Java or similar.
• Experience working as part of a collaborative engineering team.
• Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, maintainability and performance.
• An interest in learning Scala and functional programming concepts, or experience applying similar principles in other modern backend languages.
