Title: Backend Software Engineer (LLM, Content Team)

Location: Remote - must have 3-hour overlap with PST

Duration: 12 months contract

Note: NEED USC OR GC ONLY, DOB (MM/DD), SSN last 4 digits. NO VOIP or GOOGLE VOICE. This is a very hot role and will move quickly. Please submit solid profiles.

Interview Process:

1. 45 min Hiring Manager Behavioral interview
2. 60 min backend programming interview (live coding)
3. 60 min systems design architecture interview
4. [if needed] an additional 60 min backend programming interview, only if necessary for final decision

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience with Language Model (LLM), showcasing it well on resume
• Proficiency in Python and Go
• 8+ years of experience (will consider 4-5 years in large enterprise setting)
• Experience utilizing LLMs in data workflows, multiple-round RAG
• Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis
• Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
• Contribute to all phases of development: design, development, testing, deployment
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging skills
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, code reviews, documentation
• Excellent communication skills, remote collaboration skills
• Ability to innovate and thrive in ambiguity
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, high-throughput workloads

Industry Experience:

• Experience working in large tech companies preferred but not required
• Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience developing distributed backend systems at scale
• Ability to debug large codebases and perform experiments (A/B testing)
• Proactive communication and ability to unblock oneself
