Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Software Engineer - Backend to contribute to clean code, APIs, analytics, and scalable infrastructure for client solutions. You will work with the development team to build custom tools and systems with high performance and reliability, while aligning with mission-forward initiatives.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and the ability to obtain Security+ or CISSP within 6 months of start.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Java.
• Experience with microservices and containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Framework or Spring Boot.
• Experience with API development, including REST.
• Experience with integration and development tools (AWS, Bitbucket, Jenkins).
• Experience with supporting systems engineering efforts in design, solution engineering, and software development.
• Experience with Linux OS and Command Line Interface.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Certification (Security+ or CISSP) within 6 months of start date.
