Job summary

Talanto in San Francisco is seeking a Junior Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. This hybrid role blends office collaboration with remote work and offers hands-on contribution to user-facing products that go live quickly.

You will work with engineers on real-time projects, participate in code reviews, write tests (unit/integration), and learn in a startup environment while pursuing a CS degree with graduation between December 2027 and Summer 2028.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a CS degree with graduation date between Dec 2027 and Summer 2028 (required).
• Summer 2027 availability for internship in San Francisco.
• Strong CS fundamentals and testing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own your project and coordinate with teammates.
• Refactor code to improve state and maintainability.
• Emphasize reliability via unit/integration/load testing.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Support CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Contribute to software improving rider and driver experiences.
