Job summary

Talanto seeks a Software Engineering Intern, Android, for Summer 2027 to help shape our mobile finance platform. You will join a real team, collaborating with experienced engineers and designers to ship features and craft a polished Android experience.

You are pursuing a degree with a Winter 2027 or Spring 2028 graduation, possess a solid software foundation, and are drawn to front-end design and user experience. This role emphasizes hands-on learning and impactful work.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program with expected graduation Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
Solid foundation in software engineering.
Interest in front-end work focusing on visually driven product design and user experience.
Familiarity with Android components and at least one Android app.
Experience building, maintaining, or contributing to open-source projects.
Familiarity with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Dagger 2, and related libraries.
Self-starter mentality with proactive approach.

Responsibilities

Partner with a mentor from onboarding through shipping and learn our tech stack.
Collaborate with the design team throughout the product lifecycle.
Contribute to new features and mobile products impacting finance.
Explore and build innovative Android UI/UX.
Work with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Retrofit/OkHttp, Dagger 2, and Room.
