Job summary

Palantir’s backend software engineers build scalable backend services and APIs that power data-driven decision making across missions. You will work with Java, C++, Python, Rust and Go, across distributed systems and modern tooling, ensuring reliable performance and secure data handling.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect new workflows, optimize latency, and deliver robust solutions that scale with customer needs while pursuing high code quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing features and improvements for live backend systems.
• Deep understanding of data structures, APIs for microservices, and distributed systems.
• Engineering background in CS, math, software engineering, physics or similar.
• Strong coding skills in Java, C++, Python, Rust or similar languages.

Responsibilities
