Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture of multi-tiered systems.
• 1+ years developing distributed software applications and services.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services powering Amazon Connect.
• Own full SDLC from design to deployment and operational excellence.
• Write clean, production-quality Java code and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and partner teams.
• Identify and resolve complex distributed systems issues (performance, fault tolerance, data consistency).
• Mentor junior engineers through reviews and pair programming.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and roadmaps.
• Document design, runbooks, and operational procedures.
