Job summary

Uber is seeking motivated interns in San Francisco to work with mentors on ambitious software projects that impact riders, drivers, and partners worldwide. You will design, develop, and test applications using our tech stack, tackle data-driven challenges, and contribute to a real product from day one.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated software engineering experience through previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, and/or publications.
• Programming experience in one or more application or systems languages (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, C/C++, etc)
• Experience building tools/infrastructure

• A commitment to writing understandable, maintainable, and reusable software

Responsibilities

What You'll do

Basic Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's, or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, and graduating between December 2027 and September 2028.

Salary and Locations

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD $52.00 per hour.

For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD $52.00 per hour.

For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD $52.00 per hour.
