Job summary

Waymo is seeking a backend engineer to implement and scale the core economic engine for its ride-hailing commercial services. Candidates should have strong experience in backend programming, especially with languages like Java or C++, and a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

This role involves novel experimentation, simulation, and analysis support for Marketplace product data science. The salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 - $215,000 USD, with additional bonuses and equity incentives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in backend programming.
• Experience building backend platforms for multiple product use cases.
• Experience in ML/Optimization product launches automation.
