Job summary

Usul, a Silicon Valley AI lab, is seeking a backend platform engineer to help build the core infrastructure used by government procurement. This role focuses on delivering scalable, secure systems that enable rapid acquisition of technology at the speed of relevance.

You will work with Python, DevOps and cloud tooling in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. On-site in San Francisco, you’ll interview with founding engineers and the CTO for a culture fit and hands-on technical assessment.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of backend infra experience.
• Experience with Python, DevOps, Bash, Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS/GCP, and LLM tooling.
• Bonus: Typescript.
