Investment Advisory Group is seeking a Backend Developer to build scalable Kotlin services that withstand heavy load in a modern employee-centric product suite. You’ll own critical JVM subsystems, leverage gRPC, and collaborate across teams in Plymouth, MN.

You’ll design and review Ruby on Rails APIs used by internal clients, modernize legacy Docker modules, and contribute to sprint planning and the technology roadmap while maintaining high coding standards and clear communication.

Formación

• Experience with Kotlin and gRPC in production.
• Design and review Rails APIs for internal teams.
• Docker experience to modernize legacy modules.
• 1+ years leading technology projects.
• Strong communication and code quality.

Responsabilidades

• Write scalable Kotlin backend under heavy load.
• Review PRs and uphold standards across the team.
• Design Rails APIs for Plymouth, MN teams.
• Own the Kotlin subsystem relied on by others.
• Refactor legacy Docker modules to improve cleanliness.
• Contribute to sprint planning and technology roadmap discussions.
• Trace bugs across Webpack services to the root cause.
