Job summary

BTI360 is seeking multiple Backend Java Engineers to join their team in Herndon, Virginia. Candidates will work in a Lean Agile environment to build mission-critical applications, requiring skills in Java and CI/CD practices.

The ideal candidates will hold or be able to obtain an Active Security Clearance, have experience with cloud environments, and demonstrate effective communication skills. The position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a residence within a two-hour drive of Herndon, VA.
• Strong OOP knowledge and experience with Java development.

Responsibilities

• Build mission-critical production applications in a Lean Agile environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and test backend services and APIs.
• Integrate with cloud services and data platforms.

Skills

Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain one

Experience with source control and CI/CD tools

Experience designing scalable software in cloud

Experience developing backend services in Java
