Job summary

Blockvora is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services. You will own APIs, data models, and integrations with blockchain and third‑party systems.

The stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, Rust, Go, Java, Python, or Ruby, with a focus on reliability and production readiness. You will build and maintain backend services, model data in PostgreSQL/Redis, design REST and GraphQL APIs, and ensure secure, observable, and well-tested systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of Node.js/TypeScript, Rust, Go, Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and system design.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Model data and manage PostgreSQL/Redis usage.
• Integrate blockchain APIs, wallets, and external services.
• Implement auth, permissions, and security controls.
• Write tests, improve observability, and participate in reviews.
• Ship production-ready services with CI/CD.
