Focus on Ruby and GraphQL to improve GitLab.com, self-managed, and GitLab Dedicated experiences. You’ll work on the Source Code backend, collaborating with product management, design, security, and other teams to ensure high reliability through performance tuning,

Qualifications

• Experience building backend systems with Ruby or Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of API design and GraphQL interfaces.
• Experience with testing, performance tuning, caching, observability and resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, well-tested, performant features using Ruby and GraphQL.
• Work through complex requirements and legacy constraints while maintaining system reliability.
• Design and maintain backend services, APIs, data models, and business logic that support intuitive workflows.
