Job summary

OnCorps AI is hiring a software engineer to design, build, and maintain backend APIs using Python and TypeScript. You will work with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, NoSQL) and help deploy and scale applications on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.

The role involves integrating LLM orchestration tools like LangChain or Claude Code and maintaining code quality through CI/CD and unit testing. We value fast learning, cross-team collaboration, and delivering robust, high-performance solutions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building, interacting with, and maintaining robust APIs within a service oriented architecture.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and data formats (JSON, YAML).
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD processes to support automated testing and deployment.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and write clean, testable code.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend APIs and services using Python.
• Write, optimize, and manage database interactions with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Assist in deploying, scaling, and managing applications with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.
• Maintain high code quality with unit tests and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with data and software engineers to integrate LLM orchestration tools (LangChain or Claude Code).
