The role emphasizes action, collaboration, and staying current with cloud-native practices. Your work includes building, testing and deploying microservice-based solutions using JVM languages and Spring Boot, with PostgreSQL and AWS.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin a plus).
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Appreciation of secure, well-tested code and modern cloud architecture (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Do discovery, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment.
• Manage project priorities and deliverables within a collaborative team.
• Stay up to date with latest technology trends and share findings.
• Contribute during Get Stuff Done Days with practical proposals.
