Torch.AI is hiring backend engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable services in a mission-driven environment. You will contribute to RESTful API design, data modeling, and resilient systems in both Python and Java, with cloud and containerized deployments.

You will own feature delivery from development through production, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help optimize performance, reliability, and security for critical mission systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS or related field required.
• 3–6 years of backend development experience.
• Experience with Python or Java and modern backend frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python and/or Java.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service integration layers.
• Own feature delivery across development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
