Affim is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and implement APIs and microservice interfaces for the checkout platform, enabling a world-class buying experience. You will build and enhance services that manage user transactions with a focus on reliability and performance.

You will own components of the checkout system, collaborate with engineers across the organization, and help raise engineering standards and tooling.

Qualifications

• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs and microservices.
• Strong ownership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Backend software engineering experience with modern tech stacks.
