Job summary

TikTok is seeking a backend engineer to join the Creation Platform team, shaping the core content creation ecosystem. You will build features used by creators worldwide, collaborating with product and cross-functional teams to push innovation while prioritising privacy and security.

You will help evolve the architecture of large-scale distributed backend systems to support TikTok's future, working with experts across technical domains to solve tough multimedia challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical fields.
• Proficient in at least one programming language such as Golang, Java, C++, Python.
• Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with databases, caches, and message queues.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and have a growth mindset.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good team communication and collaboration skills.
