Job summary

EchoMark is seeking a backend-focused engineer in Bellevue, WA to design, build, and scale services and cloud infrastructure. You will own features end-to-end, balancing performance, security, and user experience while collaborating across teams.

The role requires 2+ years of backend development, CS degree or equivalent, and hands-on IaC with major clouds. You’ll contribute to shaping our platform and product strategy from day one.

Qualifications

• 2+ years backend development experience.
• BS in computer science or equivalent.
• Languages: Python, C#, Java or other OO language.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP or similar cloud providers.
• Experience building services and deploying at scale.
• Experience designing scalable storage (Relational DBs, NoSQL, Blobs, Search).
• Experience RBAC and security in services and architecture.

• Design, build, and scale backend services and cloud infrastructure.
• Own products and features, focusing on end-user value.
• Collaborate with engineers to change how private information is shared.
