You’ll work on APIs and microservices that handle user transactions and improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing and shipping backend services at scale.
• Strong knowledge of APIs and microservices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement insightful forward‑looking approaches that solve large open‑ended problems beyond the direct team.
• Own components of checkout systems and define their long‑term health, while improving surrounding systems.
• Collaborate with engineers across the organization to build the next generation of the checkout platform.
• Learn and improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes across the checkout platform.
