Job summary

Korean IT Services and IT Consulting is seeking a Backend Engineer to join an AI Gateway project onsite in Plano, TX. The role focuses on building a high-performance, secure intermediary layer between enterprise clients and AI providers.

Requires deep expertise in async Python, network programming, FastAPI and cloud infrastructure, with experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and streaming data at scale. Onsite, 1-year contract; visa not supported.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in async Python and network programming.
• Experience with real-time streaming and large payloads.
• Familiarity with HTTP/2/HTTP/3 and gRPC.
• Backend design with FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Containerization and Kubernetes operations.
• Experience with distributed messaging systems.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Vault for secrets.
• Cloud networking and TLS/security practices.
• IaC and CI/CD with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
