Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions that power our platform. You will work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build scalable features that meet user needs in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has strong skills in JavaScript, Python, or Go, and experience with React/Angular/Vue.js, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with RESTful APIs and microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven software development experience, preferably SaaS or cloud-based.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Go.
• Experience with modern web frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve codebase for performance, security, and reliability.
