Job summary

QUANTUM TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a software-focused engineer with strong Python and web framework experience to design and implement scalable services. The role requires deep knowledge of SQL databases, NoSQL, and data processing with Kafka.

You will work on containerized applications, orchestrated with Kubernetes, and maintain robust APIs and tests. You will collaborate across teams, follow best practices, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines on AWS or Azure.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python with at least one web framework (Django, Flask, FAST).
• Proficient in SQL & databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra).
• Experience with message brokers (Apache Kafka).
• Linux OS proficiency for system-level operations.
• Containerization with Docker; orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Version control using Git with complex branching strategies.
• Solid understanding of data structures & algorithms and OOD.
• API development and RESTful design/implementation.
• Testing & debugging using Pytest and automated tests.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Big data technologies and TDD experience are a plus.
