Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ лет опыта бэкенд-разработки, включая DeFi на торговом приложении/кошельке/DEX-агрегаторе
• Опыт владения сложными проектами end-to-end
• Опыт создания и поддержки API для разработчиков
• Глубокие знания on-chain, особенно EVM: транзакции, calldata, контрактные интерфейсы, газ и approvals
• Сильный опыт проектирования production-scale backend сервисов

Responsibilities

• Разрабатывать новые API и торговые продукты, от исследования проблем до выпуска первоначальных версий
• Поддерживать и развивать существующие API, включая поддержку новых сетей, мостов и функций по запросу клиентов
• Обеспечивать высокую скорость и надёжность API по мере роста трафика и участвовать в режиме on-call
• Исследовать сбои сделок и задержки через логи, трассировки и данные on-chain, выявлять коренные причины

0x provides developer APIs for web3 builders, enabling faster trading, better prices, and improved user experiences. Its API Products team turns trading-route optimization into APIs used by wallets, exchanges, trading apps, bridges, and developers worldwide.

Задачи:

• Build new APIs and trading products, from researching problems and designing architectures to shipping initial versions
• Maintain and extend existing APIs, including support for new chains, bridges, and customer-requested features
• Keep APIs fast and reliable as traffic grows, and participate in the on-call rotation
• Investigate failed trades and stuck transfers using logs, traces, and onchain data, and resolve root causes
• Work with product, legal, and GTM teams to turn business and compliance needs into technical decisions
• Write design documents and review teammates’ designs and pull requests

Требования:

• 6+ Years of backend engineering experience, including at least 2 years in DeFi at a trading app, wallet, DEX aggregator, onchain data company, or similar
• Track record of owning complex projects end to end as a Senior or Lead Engineer
• Experience building and maintaining developer-facing APIs
• Deep onchain knowledge, especially EVM, including transactions, calldata, contract interfaces, gas, and approvals
• Strong system design experience for production-scale backend services
• Use AI to increase engineering impact while applying independent judgment
• Communicate clearly and explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineers
• Align with the values of doing the right thing, shipping consistently, and focusing on long-term impact
• Able to attend annual in-person team offsites around the globe
