Job summary

RxSaveCard is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain cost systems, focusing on back-end services with options for full-stack work. You will ensure reliable data flow, API integration, and secure access to databases, collaborating with product and engineering to deliver a robust experience for our customers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software development, strong Node.js and SQL skills, experience with Postgres, and a passion for scalable, fault-tolerant design.

Qualifications

• 3+ years (more valued) using structured software development processes
• Hands-on experience in Node.js, Next.js/React
• Proficient in SQL and model/ORM tools (we use Postgres)
• Some hands-on experience with HTML/CSS, CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind
• Mobile-responsive experience developing UIs that work well across various browsers, desktops, and mobile devices
• Experience with OAuth is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the development and integration with databases and backend systems.
• Collaborate with the team to create a cohesive and effective user experience.
• Apply our structured software development processes to ensure quality and consistency across all projects.
• Design with security and scalability in mind, with an eye toward fault tolerance and automated recovery
• Incorporate OAuth and other authentication methods to secure the application.
