Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building scalable backend systems and data pipelines.
• Experience with AWS services and data processing technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, plus one modern backend language.

Responsibilities

• Work with telemetry and geospatial data sets (addresses, road networks, POIs).
• Build and support batch and streaming ingestion systems ingesting terabytes daily.
• Collaborate with engineers to meet geospatial data needs and deliver solutions.
• Document work, present decisions, and mentor other engineers in design and reviews.
• Promote operational excellence with testing, monitoring, and on-call support.
• Reduce technical debt and optimize performance for faster feature velocity.
