Job summary

Fisher Dynamics in Saint Clair Shores, MI is seeking a Software Engineer II to architect and build the financial backbone of our ERP platform. You will design General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and data governance while embedding AI-native capabilities and real-time APIs across the enterprise.

The role requires 4–6 years of production software experience, strong backend skills (Python/Java/C++/Go), and expertise in cloud, databases, and secure, compliant financial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred and advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, and journal entry processing with multi-entity support.
• Build Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules with workflows and reconciliations.
• Implement financial close, consolidation, audit trail and compliance requirements.
• Develop REST/GraphQL APIs and data structures for financial analytics and AI features.
• Collaborate with ML/AI engineers to integrate AI/LLM models into ERP workflows.
• Ensure secure, compliant, high-availability backend systems on cloud.
